Going Confidently

Going Confidently

Your next rung on the ladder, your next job, awaits you.  It’s time to `step up’ boldly!

This is about self-confidence, action, vision, and optimism.  This means breaking out of the comfort zone and taking on a new, different challenge.

The great minister, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale said,Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.

Thucydides said over 2400 years ago that the “bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet notwithstanding, go out to meet it.”

Lucile Ball, made us laugh, and also said that she “… learned the hard way was that it does not pay to get discouraged.  Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself.”

How are you going?  Forward, ahead, up to the next run and the next job?  Do you hear the voice saying,  “Make the Call“?
